Michael J. Burton, Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer

Michael J. Burton serves IURTC as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer.  Mr. Burton’s accounting career spans more than twenty-five years of assisting companies and organizations with financial management, budgeting, strategic planning and financial reporting.  His professional experience includes working with business owners and organization stakeholders exclusively within the small business sector including not-for-profit, government, retail and service businesses.

 

Mike joins IURTC from his most recent position of Chief Financial Officer with a local not-for-profit organization.  He was the Finance Director for a full service city in northwest Florida before returning to Indiana in 2005.  He was a partner with a Certified Public Accounting firm in Lafayette, Indiana with twelve years experience consulting with small business clients.

 

Mike is a graduate of Ball State University with a B.S. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Indiana and Florida.  He is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of CPA’s.
