Rebecca Stith Lyon, Ph.D., Associate Director of Life Sciences

Rebecca Lyon has been an Associate Director of Life Sciences for the IU Research and Technology Corporation since April 2003. Her responsibilities at IURTC include evaluating inventions, facilitating the patent process, preparing licenses and associated agreements, and fostering strong relationships with both IU faculty and industry. Her scientific background includes microbiology, cell biology and genetics.

 

Prior to IURTC, Rebecca worked at the Office of Technology Management at Washington University in St. Louis.

Rebecca is an Indiana native and a graduate of IU. She received her B.S. in Biology from IU Bloomington and her Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology and Pathogenesis from Washington University.
