Barbara J. Wentz, Director of Finance and Administration

Barb has been with IURTC since the beginning and currently holds the position of Director of Finance and Administration. Barb is responsible for the financial record keeping for the entire organization including AP/AR, journal entries, asset management, issuance of 1099’s, and generation of the monthly rent invoices for IUETC tenants. Barb assists with the yearly audit of financial transactions and procedures as required by IURTC’s Board of Directors. She is responsible for all check writing, securing authorized signatures, distributing checks, and maintaining adequate backup documentation. Barb acts as backup in matters related to payroll preparation and distribution and employee benefits.

 

Prior to joining IURTC, Barb worked at Indiana University’s Industrial Research Liaison Program and has an additional 30+ years of experience in various administrative capacities with Otis Elevator Company and General Telephone Company.
